June 1st, 2001 INTRA+
Technology Demonstration Site
Assistance Système LD Inc. is happy to
announce the first implementation of INTRA+ - its information
delivery software - as part of the Quebec Ministry of Industry
and Commerce technology demonstration site program. We have
signed an agreement with Smurfit Stone - La Tuque, a pulp and
paper company, for the implementation of 325 licenses of INTRA+.
INTRA+ will serve as the main window for a quick, easy and
efficient delivery and search of technical data or other type of
information used by production, maintenance and engineering
personnel. One of the main advantages of the software lies in
its capacity to significantly reduce time loss and to allow the
addition of annotations to documents without altering the source
or using the original software. The 24-hour support brought by
INTRA+ has a double impact as it not only allows plant personnel
to increase its productivity but also reduces production and
maintenance costs.
